Philips Expands its Capabilities in Imaging Equipment Services with the Acquisition of AllParts Medical

Royal Philips ElectronicsRoyal Philips Electronics (AEX: PHI, NYSE: PHG) has acquired AllParts Medical, a privately owned US-based provider of imaging equipment parts and training. The acquisition supports Philips' commitment to provide the imaging market with the highest quality service parts, training programs and technical support. It is an excellent fit with Philips' Multi-Vendor Services business and growth ambitions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

"We work together with our customers to help improve healthcare delivery and optimize the economic value of their imaging equipment. The expertise of AllParts Medical expands our ability to provide tailored service offerings and to enhance the lifecycle management of our customers' imaging equipment."

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, AllParts Medical has been providing comprehensive service support solutions to the healthcare market since 2006. AllParts Medical, with more than 30 employees, provides replacement parts, technical training and support in X-ray based imaging equipment such as general X-ray, cardiovascular X-ray and X-ray Computed Tomography (CT).
