Doctors 2.0 & You Congress Call for Speakers 2012

Doctors 2.0 & You Congress will gather together international supporters of health 2.0 and social media services to share ideas and best practices, increase cooperation and optimize the learnings. The 2011 conference was under the High Patronage of the French ministry of health. 27 sponsors and media partners supported the event, which was widely reported. The event website was visited from 160 countries. 2011 Keynotes included Yossi Baragon, Lucien Engelen, Berci Mesko, Victor Montori, Denise Silber. Speakers hailed from 14 countries and participants from 22.

The Doctors 2.0 & You agenda will shed light on topics such as the new physician-patient relationship, physician activity in online communities, eHealth start-ups, the relation to pharma and government. Interactive exchange among attendees will be facilitated via workshops, panels, posters, exhibits and a Cocktail Soirée.

For the 2nd Edition of Doctors 2.0 & You in 2012, have been renewed the Ambassadors from last year with a Board of Advisors. The Board comprises of a multitude of different actors in Healthcare and also of nationalities. A mixture of women and men, doctors and patients, institutions and industry - the Board of Advisors are all experts in their repective fields and they all have a desire to advance the Healthcare Social Media and 2.0 movements.

About Doctors 2.0™ & You
Doctors 2.0 & You is the first conference of its kind to examine how doctors and patients are using social media, applications and Web 2.0 tools to work with peers, governments, industry and payers. The conference draws on the expertise of physicians, patient communities, online and mobile tool providers, hospitals, insurers, pharmaceutical companies and governments to help address the role of new technology in healthcare from the doctor and patient perspective.
