Agfa HealthCare awarded three-year contract by Premier

Agfa HealthCareAgfa HealthCare has been awarded a new three-year, multi-source contract by the group purchasing division of the Premier healthcare alliance, Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P. By the terms of the agreement, Agfa HealthCare will provide film and medical imagers at competitive terms and conditions to the alliance's 2,500 member hospitals and 75,000 other alternate healthcare sites in the United States.

Agfa HealthCare provides comprehensive portfolio
The contract highlights Agfa HealthCare as a provider of a comprehensive assortment of medical film and imagers, including conventional screen film, mammography film, screens and cassettes, dry media and dry imagers.

Agfa HealthCare's entire line of diagnostic film, media and imagers is covered in the contract. This includes the company's complete family of imagers, such as the DRYSTAR AXYS, DRYSTAR 5503, DRYSTAR 5300, and DRYSTAR 5302. The DRYSTAR AXYS and DRYSTAR 5503 also offer mammography printing capabilities.

Long-term consultative relationship
Effective as of September 1, 2011, this contract is the latest in the progression of Agfa HealthCare's ongoing relationship with Premier and its member facilities, going back to 1995. Agfa HealthCare also has Enterprise Image Management Solutions (EIMS) and Computed Radiography (CR) contracts with Premier.
