Agfa HealthCare obtains over 50 new IMPAX agreements worldwide

Agfa HealthCareAgfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, has acquired over 50 new agreements for its leading Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), IMPAX, since January 2009. IMPAX is Agfa HealthCare's web-deployable image and information management solution, designed to help streamline enterprise workflow and deliver increased efficiency and productivity to hospital and care facilities.

New IMPAX agreements in 2009 included local, regional and university care centers. Some leading institutions include the Rostov Medical University in Russia, the Santa Catarina de Rio de Janeiro facility in Brazil, ZNA (Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen - Hospital Network Antwerp) in Belgium, Cleveland Clinic in the United States, the agreement with the U.S. Air Force (IMPAX Data Center), the University Hospitals of Bonn and Cologne, University Hospitals of Alexandrowska, Sveta Anna and Stara Zagora and the Hospital of Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria, King Edward VII's Hospital Sister Agnes in the United Kingdom and the Clinique de Genolier in Switzerland.
